Fire

We have turned Love into a sin
We have stripped it off its beauty and shoved it into a box

Empty Space

Get familiar with the emptiness.
Find the spaciousness within your mind and your heart, and explore the distance between one thought and another.
Revel in the empty space.
Don't let the world rush in.
Breathe into that space.
Dance in it.
Hold that space.
That empty space is YOU.
The mighty, magical YOU where anything can happen.

Don't be afraid of loneliness or desolation,
They are simply shadows of the mind.
In that empty space there is no separate you and me.
Everything is one and we are eternally bathed in love and light.
So find that empty space, embrace it and work hard to expand it.
Lovingly pulling others in it until we are all there and it has enveloped our whole universe.
From there we come and there we shall return.

So much love

Fill your heart with so much love that no room remains for doubt and fear.

Everything

As long as you seek something from the outside you will never find comfort.
There will always be something missing, something better you can achieve,  someone else you need to fulfill you.

Connect to the source within and breathe into the knowing that you already are more than you need.

Duality

We are manifestations of our soul. So you can't necessarily separate one from the other. We often think of the "soul" as some attribute of us, something separate. What we call "soul" is the source, the infinite knowledge. The place where I am you and everyone else. The body is just a grosser form of energy, manifesting in this realm. But we create this duality by thinking the two are separate. So the purpose is not to learn to transcend the body but to finally bring forth what we truly are. Manifest it. To liberate into this grosser form by learning to vibrate on a different frequency. The highest vibration being love. Not physical, lustfull, romantic love. But infinite pure love for every being and every moment.

Which one?

Fear is in your head.
Love is in your heart.
Which one would you follow?

Bring forth the light

All subtle reality is within each one of us, at all times.
All the beautiful energy is constantly pulsating inside.
We have just turned away and forgotten.
But the strength, the courage, the light and love are what bubbles inside when we let go of resistance.

It is no longer possible to keep it hidden.
A time has come to nourish and cultivate that strength.
To embrace it and bring it out.

The purpose is no longer to search for another realm of existence, where anything is possible, where we can hide from a world we don't like or understand.
The purpose now is to manifest the love and light into this reality.

Lack of purpose

Life is not about finding a purpose.
It's about finding humility and acceptance in your lack of purpose.
Direction without asking and understanding.
Determination full of blind trust.
Service out of love and not of fear.

Faith and Courage

Faith is not believing in someone or something, not blinding following an idea.
Faith is trusting when you have no reason to trust.
Courage is not the notion that everything will be ok. It is the knowledge of the hardship ahead that brings a joy in your step.
Courage is digging deep into your own dark, unknown side and embracing it.

Faith is simply knowing that all you need is already inside you.
Courage is consciously stepping into the fire to bring it out and let it shine.

When your path has a heart the journey is joyous, no matter how hard!

Idle

Revel in the times that seem idle for that is when the most radical change occurs.

Practice

Each hard moment is a practice in faith.
Each tough step is a transition.
Everything is always in flux.
Comfort and security are only an illusion, a refuge of the mind.
There is nothing you need to become.
You are already everything you can possibly be.
All you need is to see.
Everything else is unnecessary.

Inspiration

True change can only come from within. 

One can't change simply because change is needed.

To try and change someone's behavior is like trying to give a new shape to cloud- it's not sustainable. 

To bring change you can only work on yourself.

To bring change the only thing you can do is to inspire. 

To stir someone's soul and wake it to the beauty of the light. 

Then the shape if the clouds doesn't matter any more for they cannot block the light that shines from within.

Your story

Every time you make a new connection, meet a new person is an opportunity to start anew, to tell your story in a different way.
Instead of reciting the same old verses,   say the old things in a new way.
Or even better narrate totally new things, things that you have forgotten about yourself, things you didn't even know about yourself.

Every time you make a new connection, meet a new person is an opportunity to learn something new about yourself.
For every person you meet is a reflection of something in you.
And every person you meet is here to gift you with a message and take you further on your journey.
Some people point you to a direction, others, take you by the hand and lead you ahead, through a place you couldn't walk alone.
And there are others who take the burden off your shoulders, simply make you lift your head off the road and take in the scenery, showing you the beauty you weren't able to see before. Making you aware of all the magical places you can reach for.

Are you open enough with each new soul you meet to receive the message?
Are you open enough to gift them with the message you have for them?

The first step

The goal is not to reach enlightenment

The destination is not ascension

The journey is not to reach for the heavens

The goal is to let the light shine here

The destination is home, but we are already there

The journey is within

This time one cannot leave and see the light alone

It is all or nothing now

The work is not to go home but to make home "here"

And no one is left behind

So reach your hand and touch the souls around you

It is  hard job to do

But until your learn to do your work with a smile on your face 

And a song in your heart

Loving and living every moment of it

Until that work becomes your life' calling 

And the only source of joy in this life

Until then the work hasn't yet begun.

That is when we will be able to take the first step

The truth in your heart

Your eyes can't see

Your hands can't touch

Your ears won't be able to hear

Until you feel the truth in your heart first. 

Imagination

You can't see the truth before you believe in it.

The real You will not manifest before you go deep into the place of knowing and trusting, where even the shadow of the doubt don't exist. 

Deep down we know who we are, what we are.

The doubt, the fear of the limitless power we posses prevents us from seeing and accepting.

Don't let the mind trick you into doubting, questioning, reasoning.

Reason is an invention of the mind.

Imagination is the truth of the soul.

Drop everything unnecessary.

Know with your heart.

Old things

Sometimes change is not about doing new things.
Very often change is about doing the same old things differently.

Blessings

When you realize you have nothing everything becomes a blessing.

You were born with nothing but your soul, your bare presence.
Everything you've learned, everything you think you know, everything familiar, everything you think you have, everything you take for granted has been given to you.
Even the "bad" experiences.
They have been your biggest blessing for they have taught you the most and taken you where you are today.
Don't discriminate between good and bad.
Everything is a blessing.
Don't get attached to your possessions, your ideas, your friends.
They are  temporary gifts that can dissolve at any moment.

There is no need for sadness or anger or regret.

The only thing you can do is be grateful for all the gifts you've been given and enjoy them in the present.

Cherish everything you have been given for it is not yours to keep.

It's time

It is time to stop feeling alone amidst the crowd. 

And time to start feeling comfort and support in the most lonesome moments.

Separation is an illusion, as is the feeling of being all alone.

We are all here together, and everyone has their part to play.

Allow yourself to be who you are and do what you came here to do.

Fear

Fear is the most basic form of resistance.
Face it.
Engage it.
Release it

Awareness

Awareness means you simply see who you are without struggling to change. Your awareness makes all the necessary changes, not your struggle.

Chaos

Courage

Courage is not the absense of fear.
Courage is knowing the fear and looking it in the eye, as you keep walking straight into it.

Embrace your fears

Don't block the fear.
Embrace it.
Feel it as a part of you.
Become one with it.
It's the only way to dissolve it.

Beyond the mind that questions lies a knowing void of any doubt.

The mind that doubts
The body that tenses in the eyes of uncertainty
Are only stepping stones

For what we can reach when we have done our work.

The Spirituality of Imperfection

"Because paradox is at our very core, the spirituality of imperfection suggests that only by embracing the "dark side" of our ambiguous natures can we ever come to know " the light".

We find ourselves only by giving up our selves, we gain freedom by submitting to the will of others, we gain autonomy not by insisting  on our own rights.

Saints and Sages throughout the centuries have maintained  that it is the willingness to give up the self and and give in to others that the road to human wholeness can be found. 

And for those who would give up the "self', the first step is to give up certainty."

The Spirituality of Imperfection

The mind is not you

When the mind has gotten a hold of you
Breathe.
When you feel its tentacles digging into your soul
Breathe in and feel your body from the inside.
When you know you can't hide from it
Stand up and laugh in its face
When you feel like your mind is drowining you in judgement

Dissolving the Ego

When serving is no longer an obligation but joy.

When you speak the truth not because you have to but because you want.

When your hard work becomes pure pleasure.

When your work is no longer a cross to bear but your life's calling

When you walk up the steep hills of life with a light heart.

That's when your ego is truly starting to dissolve

Space and time

Don't rush through time, wishing each minute is over before it even begins.
Prolong each moment as mch as you can and feel how time starts slowing down, enveloping you like mist.
Heavy, sweet fog that moves with your intent.
Space and time are a contium of energy.
Find the gaps, the space between time and everything becomes possible

Doing

Doing is not forcing.
Doing is putting the intent out in the universe and patiently wating for the right time when that intent manifests.
Don't get attached to what it should look like.
Patiently trust that what you need will come your way when you are ready.

The original face

"The nature of the mind is like your own face; it is always with you but you cannot see it without help.

Imagine that you have never seen a  mirror before. The introduction by the master is like suddenly holding up a mirror in wich you can, for the first time, see your own face reflected. 

Just like your face, this pure awareness of Rigpa is not something "new" that the master is giving you, nor is it something you could possible find outside yourself.

 It has always been yours, and has always been with you but up until that moment you have never actually seen it."

Fear

When you sense the fear
Don't cringe and look away
Stand up tall
Accept the fear
Know it openly
See it
Feel it
Face it
Embrace it
In that alone lies the greatest form courage
Connect with your power
Shine the infinite light
To realize
The fear is only a shadow
It has no life on its own.

Travelling

Perfection is not necessary, there is no arriving, only going.

There is no need to judge where you are in your journey.

It is enough that you are travelling

Mindfulness

Awareness is not enough!
It's only the first step.
From there on the work is to constantly bring mindfulness into our actions and break away from habits that keep us comfortable and closed off to limitless possibilities.

A habit, a liking  is nothing more than a natural way to preserve energy!
Habitual patterns formed in the brain use much less energy than making a decision how to act  at every moment.

The work is to constantly examine which patterns no longer serve a purpose and let them go.

Consciously choosing a direction, a course of action that takes us out of the ordinary and onto the path with heart.

And when you hear yourself say " I don't like..." pause to evaluate... is it you or your mechanical, habitual self... your ego that is acting on your behalf.

To start dissolving the ego start doing the things you don't like, the things that scare you, the things you never thought you would do...

Privilege

When the ego disolves and you let go of of the constant need to want, you realize that giving and serving are the greatest privileges in life.
