Mindfulness

Awareness is not enough!
It's only the first step.
From there on the work is to constantly bring mindfulness into our actions and break away from habits that keep us comfortable and closed off to limitless possibilities.

A habit, a liking  is nothing more than a natural way to preserve energy!
Habitual patterns formed in the brain use much less energy than making a decision how to act  at every moment.

The work is to constantly examine which patterns no longer serve a purpose and let them go.

Consciously choosing a direction, a course of action that takes us out of the ordinary and onto the path with heart.

And when you hear yourself say " I don't like..." pause to evaluate... is it you or your mechanical, habitual self... your ego that is acting on your behalf.

To start dissolving the ego start doing the things you don't like, the things that scare you, the things you never thought you would do...
