Simplicity

Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius — and a lot of courage – to move in the opposite direction.”
–Albert Einstein

If you look really hard at yourself and your life it is the simple things that matter the most.

The moment shared with a loved one, a walk in the park, the time taken to find the breath.

A quiet afternoon with a good book, a mellow evening inside with the family, a plain home-cooked meal.

So simple, so beautiful

Yet we all race towards impossible dreams and instilled expectations. We chase ghosts and hide in the closet scared of our own reflections.

Full of fears and insecurities and fear we keep running, desperately trying to catch up with our unreal expectations.

But if we stopped, took a deep breath and opened our eyes to the present moment we would realize that everything we ever needed is here right now....

Wherever you are at the moment you read this, PAUSE.... Take a deep breath that fills up your whole body with life and ask yourself what is that you truly, really need at this moment? And if something is honestly lacking, then go get it.

The chances are you and your fears are the only reason why you are missing something. There is no one to blame.

Take another breath, feel the earth supporting you and stand on your own two feet.

You are all you need.

Simple.
